PulseConnect · Accounting Command CenterA guided cycle, start to finish

Nothing is paid from the reconciliation screen anymore. You stage payments in Step 3, pay them in Step 4, and close the cycle in Step 5.

Accounting Dashboard. The Commission Cycle strip counts batches at each step. Batches Overview lists every batch with its stage, whether it balances, its status, and a single button that takes you to the next step.

Step 3 · ReconciliationStage payments, see what is ready

  • Each batch card shows Push Readiness: how many payees and cases are ready, and why the rest are not. Reasons: no statement premium, period on hold, missing contracted FYC, needs approval, or no TopLine or Payor.
  • A payee with nothing to pay shows Nothing to pay and holds nothing up.
  • Close Batch takes you to Report & Close. It works only once every payee is paid, deferred, or has nothing to pay.
  • → Pay on the period grid opens the payment form; its button now reads Push to Payouts Step. The payment is staged for Step 4, not recorded.
  • Staged payments show a Staged pill with an Unstage option. If a rate, statement premium, split, payout or excess premium changes afterward, affected payments return to Reconciliation and you are told how many.
Batches with Push Readiness. The Corebridge batch shows 8 payees and 2 cases not ready, with the reasons spelled out. Above it, a case's distribution rows show a disabled → Pay and a Pay next period link until the case is ready.

Step 3 · ReconciliationExcess premium and the payee table

Excess Prem.

  • A new Excess Prem. figure sits on each case, next to Annualized Premium.
  • On Life cases with Autocalculate Premiums on, it is (1035 + Annualized) − (Target + non-commissionable plan fee), never below zero.
  • Type a value to override the calculation. Clear it to return to the calculation.
  • Recalculation updates the case in place, without reloading the page.

Payee table

  • New Contracted Excess and Adjusted Excess columns, with totals. Editable when Enable Editing is on.
  • The "FYC Rates" group is renamed Rates.
  • Setting a payee to Paid while a balance remains shows a message instead of opening the payment form.
  • Removed: the Pay button and statement premium batch dropdown on the payee table, and the View Commission Payee Report link and payout summary cards. Marketer Analytics is unchanged.
Payee table with the new Rates group. Contracted FYC, Adjusted FYC, Contracted Excess and Adjusted Excess sit together, each with totals. Payments are made from the period grid below.

Step 3 · ReconciliationOverpayments hold for approval. Amounts can move forward.

Additional payment on a paid period. A reason is required; the payment goes on Hold for approval.

Overpayments go on hold

  • Paying more than the expected amount requires a reason and puts the payment On hold.
  • Anyone with approval rights can approve or reject it from the hold bar above the period. Administrators and managers may approve their own.
  • Rejecting a hold stages the payment again at the expected amount.
  • On a period that is already paid, Unlock and Pay stages an additional payment. It always needs a reason and approval.
On Hold for Approval. Expected $0.00, adjusted $500.00, delta +$500.00, with the reason, who staged it and when. Period Status reads Hold.

Defer to the next period

  • Pay next period defers a payee's amount, creating the next period if needed. The period shows "Deferred to P2" and the next period shows the carried amount.
  • Deferrals can be undone.

Step 3 · ReconciliationTransactions land in the right period

  • A Transaction Allocation table sits at the top of each case's periods: date, type, premium, rate and commission for every transaction on the policy.
  • Allocate each one to a period, or to a new period, to record which statement paid for which period.
  • A warning appears when a period's statement premium does not match its allocated transactions.
  • Possible duplicates are flagged: same policy, type, premium, rate and commission within 15 days. Not a duplicate clears the flag permanently.
  • Add Bonus posts a bonus transaction into the batch you are working in.
  • A new Period Status row: Active, Complete, Complete + Bonus Received, or Hold. A period locks as Complete once every payee is paid or deferred.
Two possible duplicates. Same premium, rate and commission two days apart. One is allocated to P1, one is Unallocated; each carries Not a duplicate.
Allocated and ready to stage. The transaction is allocated to P1 (highlighted); each payee in the distributions has → Pay and Pay next period.

Step 4 · Push Payouts NewMark staged payments paid

  • Staged payments are grouped by batch, then policy.
  • Totals for Ready to Push, On Hold, Deferred to Next Period, Already Pushed, and your selection. Filter by status, batch, carrier and payee type.
  • Select rows or whole batches and choose Pay with a payment date (today by default). Each payment is recorded exactly as staged.
  • Approve or reject held payments here. Defer a staged payment, or return it to Reconciliation.
  • Reverse a paid payment, with a reason, if you have accounting edit rights.
  • A batch that does not balance shows a Not balanced warning but can still be paid. Paid rows stay listed until the batch closes. Export to CSV.
One payment waiting. $500.00 on hold needs approval; $179,532.75 already pushed across 6 payments. The additional payment carries an Additional tag, its hold reason, and Approve, Reject and Return to Reconciliation.
Paid rows. Each shows who staged it, who paid it and the payment date, with a Reverse button. The held payment sits among them with its Pay button disabled until approved.

Step 5 · Report & Close NewReview what was paid, then close the batches

  • Header totals: batches in the cycle (closed and pending), total disbursed, open holds, flagged variances. Each tab exports to CSV.
  • Disbursement Summary: commissions received; disbursed to agents and TopLine; bonus paid; net retained; held or deferred. Tables by batch and by payee.
  • Generate Payee Statements produces one printable document, a page per payee. No more window per payee.
  • Close Batch and Close All Balanced close a batch only when it balances, has no holds or unpaid staged payments, and every payee is settled. You then land on Batches Overview.
  • Recently closed shows the last 90 days. A closed batch can be reopened with a reason.
  • Held Payments lists every overpayment hold: amounts, who adjusted and why, who decided, how long it waited.
Disbursement Summary. Totals across the cycle, then a by-batch table showing each batch's readiness. A batch that cannot close says why.

Step 5 · Report & CloseTarget / Statement Variance

Variance at the 10% threshold. 13 cases in the cycle, 1 within threshold, 12 flagged (8 with no statement premium). Partial statement premium is called out as the likely cause on one case.

Audit Logs NewEvery step, every action

  • Every step has an Audit Logs button, and so does the Reconciliation tab on Application Detail.
  • Each entry shows who did what and when, the entity touched, the field, the before and after values, and the reason given.
  • Logged: imports, batch changes, posted transactions, allocations, period edits, staging, holds, approvals, payments, reversals, locks, closes and reopens.
  • The log is kept permanently. Filter by step, case, user and batch.

Application Detail

  • The Reconciliation tab includes every Step 3 change in this release.
  • The Record Payment button is removed from Case Commissions → Commission Structure. Payments are staged from the period grid and paid in Push Payouts.
Audit log for one case, filtered to Reconciliation. Field edits, an allocation, a period edit and three staged payments, each with user, timestamp, and before and after values.

PulseConnect · DashboardsClearer color, less noise, better marketer filtering

  • Updated background and text colors across the dashboards for stronger contrast and an easier read.
  • Just in Time KPIs are hidden when there is nothing to show, so the row no longer carries empty tiles.
  • Sales Dashboard, Agents tab: a new All Marketers option in the Marketer filter. It is the default for administrators.
Operations Dashboard. The refreshed palette on KPI tiles, production totals and the case list.
Sales Dashboard, Agents tab. The Marketer selector reads All Marketers.

PulseConnect · Client & household managementFinancial Profile & Suitability, saved as a snapshot

  • The profile is a point-in-time snapshot. Each application binds to the snapshot in force when the recommendation was made, and prior versions are retained rather than overwritten.
  • A draft autosaves until it is attested. Save Snapshot records it, and Print Questionnaire prints the form.
  • Owner and joint owner: age, date of birth and employment status for each.
  • Living arrangement and source of income (check all that apply). The duration fields unlock only when disability, unemployment, child support or alimony is selected, so the form enforces the condition instead of printing it as an instruction.
  • Federal tax bracket, 0% through 37%.
Snapshot V3, draft. It supersedes V2 and shows who started it and when. Owner and joint owner, living arrangement, source of income and tax bracket are captured in one form. Sample data shown.

PulseConnect · Client & household managementHousehold assets, split by what is accessible

  • Assets divide into Liquid (accessible without penalty or charge) and Non-Liquid (subject to a charge or penalty, or with no triggering event).
  • Paired rows split by penalty status, not asset class. 403(b) / 457(b), Pension / Defined Benefit, 401(k) and Thrift Savings Plan each appear on both sides; the side a balance sits on depends on whether the triggering or qualifying event has occurred.
  • Cash value of life insurance and annuities pair the same way, by surrender period, and carry an AUTO tag.
  • Each side totals, and four measures sit underneath: Total Household Assets, Liquidity Ratio (liquid ÷ total), Monthly Disposable (income less expenses) and Months of Reserve (liquid ÷ monthly expenses).

Asset-based LTC fields

Fields for asset-based long-term care (LTC) are added.

Liquid and non-liquid, side by side. In this sample, $135,000 is liquid and $300,000 is non-liquid, for $435,000 total, a 31.0% liquidity ratio and 3.4 months of reserve.

PulseConnect · Client & household managementInforce Values on Application Detail

  • A new Inforce Values tab activates when the case reaches Inforce.
  • Switch between Life · SIUL and Annuity · FIA. The Life view shows accumulation value, surrender charge, cash surrender value, net CSV (less loans), death benefit, premiums paid, withdrawals, loans, cost basis and 7-pay room (MEC).
  • Value History lists monthly premium in, premium load, monthly deduction, interest or index credit, withdrawals, end AV and surrender value, each tagged with its source, plus a policy year-to-date row.
  • Source precedence: carrier feed, then Kyra-extracted annual statement, then manual entry. Manual overrides are flagged and audit-logged.
  • Manual Value Entry, Kyra: Extract from Annual Statement and Push to Client Profile sit at the top of the tab.
A Lincoln WealthPreserve SIUL, policy year 1, month 6, as of 09/30/2026 from the carrier feed. Demo data.

PulseConnect · Fixes and additionsCarrier Plan Premium and email templates

  • 19 new application merge fields, available from the Field Codes panel when you edit a template. Copy a code into the Subject or Body.
